Lounging around in cosy knits is an ideal way to round off your weekend. This week has been unbelievably hectic and I found myself craving only one thing: to spend the remaining days of this rapidly concluding break curled up with a capturing novel in the most indulgent knit I can rustle up. This will definitely be added to my to-do-list as I relish the thought of being offered the opportunity to unwind with friends and family over the upcoming two days. Let the tranquil temptations begin, and all with an over-sized, insanely fluffy and simply irresistible winter's knit.

Paper crown
Paper Crown
Is a collection for those who like to play dress up in a grown up world.
Conrad's designs are a modern take on classic style, with an emphasis on fit and fabric quality to create staples for the contemporary women's closet.
The collection is composed of ultra romantic maxis, chic cocktail attire, menswear inspired pieces and tailored basics.
The result: an understated elegance that is both effortless and youthful.
The fall collection, debuting 2011, is inspired by Conrad's love of fanciful design elements that transcend the boundaries of everyday fashion, while maintaining an aesthetic that is fresh and forward with a feminine charm.
After all, girls just want to have fun...and look lovely while doing it.
Soft spot
Epitomizing everything wonderful about indulgent snack food, soft pretzels are the way to any baseball fans heart. With a hectic schedule these past few weeks, we have both found it extremely rare to catch up with friends, blogging and weekly attractions. So while scoping through our rotating favourites in the pursuit of an incrediably simple yet visually magnificant recipe, we discovered this recipe. You couldn't ask for anything more than these German Pretzels with their golden shells and pull apart cloudy insides. Simple snacks for late afternoon drinks in the summer, surrounded by loved ones. Batter up!

Peachy keen
After our week of winter holiday bliss it has been utterly inspiring to flick through the ravenous colours that remind us both that spring is only a step away. The pink, apricot and coral are an increasing favorite on our spring palates this coming season and we are already smitten with the pops of colour mixed with brilliant whites and antique gingham prints as shown below. This gorgeous colour screams to be accompanied with pale pinks and whites for a mid morning brunch or combined with tantalizingly liquids to create a sweet spring brew, perfect for late afternoon barbeque's with friends. Were ready to trial out this blush hue in a rush to induce spring!

Turban Tricks
The risky, yet simple look of the turban is unfolding all over the fashion scene. Play it cute and casual with a loosely pulled back bun or edge up your look with a bold coloured band accompanied by soft curls kissing your face. Rain or shine, there turban look is here to stay. The knitted band is a diverse take on a usual winter hat and for winter grab a velvet or leather style to slip on for an utterly effortless look. Play around with aquas, rusty orange or pastel colours for an ideal winter pick. The front knot adds simple detail while its a statement all on its own. Tying your turban just right may take some time but its well worth the effort if you want to add that something extra to any outfit.We'll have what their having please!
{Rock the full turban or opt for a thick head band} |
{Mix it up with pops of tangerine}
